Robert Guitron

Artistic Director and resident choreographer Robert Guitron has been with Polaris Dance Theatre since its inception in 2002. Though the artistic vision of director Robert Guitron is a deep and rich resource for the company, Guitron has the unique ability to incorporate the diverse talents of his dancers to enrich the company and its repertoire. Guitron’s vision, paired with a brilliantly technical and soulful group of dancers, demands attention.

Robert Guitron has performed, taught, and choreographed throughout the United States, Canada, Italy and Japan with such companies as Bodyvox, Pacific Dance Ensemble, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Opera Omaha, Portland Opera, Utah Opera, Minnesota Opera, Opera Pacific, Pacific Ballet Theatre, Pacific Artists Ballet Theatre, and the Northwest Academy of the Arts.
