Jennifer Camp originally from Atlantic
City, New Jersey makes her debut with
Polaris Dance this 2004-2005 season. She completed her Master of Fine Arts at the University of California, Irvine on a fellowship and received her Bachelor of Arts at Arizona State Univ. with an emphasis on dance education. Jennifer's diversity as a dancer
has lead her to perform both classical and contemporary works, some of which include, American in Paris, Snow Queen, Hamlet,
Light and Seasons. Company credits include Center Dance Ensemble, InPresentCo, and Eastside Ballet. Jennifer has also taught dance at private academies and the college level at University of California Irvine, Fullerton College, Saddleback College and Portland Community College. In addition to dancing with Polaris, Jennifer currently enjoys directing the Dance Minor at PacificUniversity in Forest Grove and teaching at Lake Oswego Academy of Dance. Jennifer feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to train and work with some of the most passionate and dedicated artists such as Donald McKayle, Cliff Keuter, Israel "El" Gabrielle, TJ Maheras, Lila Zali, Kee Juan Han, Constance Stine, Young Aie Park, Anne Stein-Heemskerk, and local artist Tracey
Durbin.
