Polaris Contemporary Dance Center offers:

Youth Dance Program Ages 3-16: Our Youth Training Program offers a fun and challenging curriculum including Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Aerial, and Hip Hop – PLUS conditioning classes geared to young dancers. ALL classes are taught by professional dancers, including Polaris company members.

Open Adult and Teen Classes: Polaris Contemporary Dance Center offers a range of open classes for adults and teens spanning many disciplines and levels of experience, from the novice to the professional dancer. These are real classes for real people. Polaris offers an open and supportive environment to study dance.

Open Company Classes: Advanced and professional level dancers interested in attending Polaris Company Classes must obtain permission from the School Director M’Liss Stephenson.

All Access Classes: Our All Access program opens doors to individuals in our community with a disability
and embraces the freedom to explore, express, and create without judgment or comparison.

2012 Summer Kids Camp Jul 9-20: Polaris Dance Theatre’s Kids Camps are geared to ages 6-12. Students enjoy a variety of dance classes everyday including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Aerial, Yoga, Pilates and more! Each camp day is also filled with time for a creative art project. The week culminates in an informal showing of student dance and creativity. Kids Camp 2012 runs July 9-13 and July 16-20. We offer a 10% discount for those attending the full session for both weeks. 2012 Polaris Summer Intensive Aug 6-24: Polaris Summer Intensive will challenge intermediate and advanced level students ages 13 and over in multiple areas of dance disciplines from aerial to contemporary to ballet. Students will also learn Polaris Dance Theatre repertory. Our outstanding faculty includes Polaris Dance Theatre’s own Artistic Director Robert Guitron as well as Rehearsal Director M’Liss Stephenson, PLUS special guest instructors to be announced. The Intensive will include a class demonstration at Polaris’s Galaxy Dance Festival at Director Park and will culminate with a performance piece to be premiered at Polaris Studio Theater on August 25th.
