Blue, an original production, conceived and created by Artistic Director, Robert Guitron is an exuberant exploration of two art forms born and raised in the USA, modern dance and the blues. Both art forms are an expression of emotional and financial upheaval, of hard times and broken hearts, of the joy and sorrow that is the meat of the human experience. Polaris’ company of 11 dancers explore the rich roots of movement and the soul shaking music that is the blues. The result is a spiritual feast of sound and movement.
